Shipping & Returns
➣ SHIPPING
Processing time takes approximately 4-7 business days from the date of order (unless it's a pre-order). Please allow up to 14 days after processing for delivery. All orders are shipped through USPS and shipping costs are calculated by weight and shipping location at checkout. You will receive a confirmation email with your receipt letting you know we received your order. A tracking number will be provided and sent once the order has been shipped. All shipments are sent via USPS with a provided tracking number.
International Orders: International shipping is currently not available at this time. Shipping is only limited to the U.S. In the future, we do plan on opening the shop to Canada, sometime during August of 2026.
Shipping of Pre-orders: Expect shipping times for pre-orders from the Philippines to arrive about 8-16 weeks after placing your order. We work with our partnered artisans, weavers, and artists in the Philippines to hand create custom textiles, figures, pre-colonial inspired jewelry, musical instruments, etc.
We currently have a shipping schedule from the Philippines for May/June, August, and November for 2026. This is to allow our partner's to create your custom items, as well as cut back on shipping costs from the Philippines by putting everything in bulk boxes.
Any orders placed from May 1-July 31, 2026 will be in the August shipment.
Any orders placed from August 1-October 31, 2026 will in the November shipment.
If you are planning to purchase an in stock item and a pre-order item, please place two separate orders if you want to have the in stock item delivered to you on time. Otherwise, the in stock item will be shipped together with the pre-order item when ready for shipment.
While we do have our scheduled shipping times from the Philippines, any natural disasters in the Philippines such as typhoons, earthquakes, volcano eruption, etc. may in turn affect and delay shipping times. In the event this happens, we will reach out and make an announcement after confirming and checking up on our partners in the Philippines for their safety.
➣ REFUND & EXCHANGE POLICY
All sales are final due to the nature of being handmade products. Once the order has been placed we do not accept cancellations or exchanges. If you receive an incorrect item, contact us within 7 business days with proof and we will contact you to work out the situation.
Products damaged in transit are not the responsibility of The Alamat Shop. If your product comes broken or damaged, contact us within 72 hours upon receiving the item and send us photos or video as proof so we can file a claim and send a possible replacement as soon as possible. Note* that cosmetic imperfections in our soy candles or any handmade or woven products do not count as damaged.
Once packages are carefully packed and shipped, it is no longer the responsibility of The Alamat Shop, but of the USPS. All orders receive a tracking number once shipped. If your item is lost, delayed, or stolen please contact your local post office and provide your tracking info so they can sort out and try to locate your package.
