The kagoy, or also known as the uyus, is a traditional blanket that is woven by the Kalinga. This blanket features motifs such as the silaksakaw design, or crisscross patterns. The diamonds on the sakaw design represent a rattan weave, that is typically put on walls to hold plates, bowls, etc. The colors used for this blanket include white, red, yellow, and black threads. The indigo used to make the black threads represent the sky, red represents the earth or soil, and the yellow represents the mountains, as well as prosperity and fertility.

It also has the silambituwon motif, which resembles a bituwon, or star. Traditionally, these patterns was designed for the kachangyan, or affluent families. It symbolized power and authority, thus it's seen as a revered motif.

This kagoy blanket is handwoven by Kalinga weavers and is perfect for an altar table cover, tapestry, or a light blanket.
